All about Ms. Strong

Welcome to Team 7-3 Geography at Sunrise Middle School! I am so excited to get to know your child and work and read with them this year! We have a year full of fun and learning ahead! Without further ado; here's a little about me...

 

I graduated from Doane University, with a degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology in 2010. Following my graduation from Doane, I worked for the Department of Health and Human Services. In 2012, I decided to attend UNK to pursue a teaching certificate in middle grades education with focuses in social sciences and language arts. Following my student teaching, I began teaching 8th grade English at Park Middle School within Lincoln Public Schools. In the fall of 2022, I began my journey with Sunrise middle school on team 7.3. I love my job and am grateful to be a Silver Hawk each and every day!

 

When I am not working on school , I enjoy spending time reading, spending time outside, helping out on my family's farm, and hanging out with my friends and family.
